SRC How it Works

Summer Reading Challenges are back! We’re using an app called Beanstack to track your reading (web interface works too). You can also get a paper log if you need one from either branch or the bookmobile (in case your access to the internet is less than reliable). Register through any of the links that say “sign up” like the one to the right. If you want to use the app, after you’ve downloaded it search for "Ashtabula County District Library" to register.

Caregiver & Me

Gather the whole family and read together for the Caregiver & Me category. The family unit MUST include at least 1 adult (age 18+) and any number of household members including kids age 0 – Grade 12. Please note that the adult(s) are required to register and complete all entries for this program.

Your goal is to read together 20 minutes per day which you will track in the Beanstack app or website (paper logs also available). You'll be working through three tiers with a ultimate completion goal of 600 minutes read. The family will earn small prizes each time they complete a tier.

The group will also receive a virtual ticket each time they complete a reading tier. Virtual tickets are entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize: a Shuttle Art 46 Pack Kids Paint Set!
