Tuesday 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm Study Room B, Ashtabula Public Library Please note that the timing of this event has been shifted due to the library being closed on Memorial Day.
Are you an aspiring author working alone in a cave? Peer feedback on your novel, or short story can help polish your project. You are invited to join us on the last Monday of each month to workshop your writing with our group.
At the request of some members, this group has shifted to a hybrid event with some members attending in-person, and others meeting via ZOOM.
If you are not already part of the group, please use the registration for this event to add your name and email to our list. After you do that, Dwight will take that Pre-registration information for all communication and to send out the pieces that we are reading, and the Zoom Details to the confidential email list. At these ongoing monthly meetings, members are invited to submit up to 3,000 words of a current project for review and peer critiques at these monthly meetings.
Our general schedule is that Dwight will email participants asking for submissions during the second week of the month. This email will share the deadline for submissions, which is generally the third Monday of the Month. This allows for distribution of submissions to the full group for review approximately one week before the monthly sessions. This meeting will move to the last Tuesday of the month to accommodate the Christmas Holiday.
Please read over the attached documents, Submission Cover Guide and Writers’ Group Guidelines which will guide our meetings.

At the heart of this story are the deep human connections that unite us even when we’re apart—the pain of a beloved daughter’s suffering, the emptiness that comes from the death of a loved one, the promise of a new friendship, and the comfort of an old, enduring love.”
At this June meeting, we will distribute a new book in preparation for the July session.
