In honor on Mental Health Month, this free seminar is presented by the Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board and ACDL.  Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives.  This training is important for those adults who interact with someone who suffers depression or mental illness and may be at risk for suicide.

KEY COMPONENTS OF QPR TRAINING:
  • How to Question, Persuade and Refer someone who may be suicidal
  • How to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide
  • The common causes of suicidal behavior
  • The warning signs of suicide
  • How to get help for someone in crisis
