Program Description

Event Details

Part 1 of this series has been very popular but we received feedback that it would be helpful to see a demonstration of how to hook everything up. In this session, our Emerging Technologies Librarian will facilitate a discussion on the multitude of streaming options. We will talk about the basic setup with regard to what sort of televisions, computers, or tablets work well. Our librarian will also demonstrate a common setup that includes the specific cords needed as well as how to run the software to watch television and movies using common paid streaming services including Netflix, Hulu, Paramount, Apple TV, and Max.

We will also discuss how to use Hoopla and Kanopy which are free apps that work with your library card and provide access to a good variety of streaming content.
