April 2017 Exhibit: Peggy Kurtz

Peggy Kurtz is a native of Harborcreek, Pennsylvania. She attended the Philadelphia College of Art, and was the costume mistress for the traveling Broadway production of My Fair Lady. She worked with women in Guatemala to develop cottage industry for their crafts, and is an accomplished mural and portrait artist.

Peggy recalls beginning her adventure in the arts at four years of age, utilizing any materials she could find. Her favorite processes are painting, wood carving, and printmaking.

She currently resides on a mountain top in Huntsville, Alabama.
