ACDL During Coronavirus Pandemic
The library is here for you. We missed seeing you in the buildings this Spring while we were closed. Now… we are open again!
As described in the Library’s Press Release of May 20, 2020, the Ashtabula County District Library (ACDL) Board of Trustees have agreed to a four (4) tiered reopening plan that will allow for a slow return to full library services and the reopening of the Ashtabula and Geneva Public Libraries to the public.
The library is currently in Phase 3 of it’s reopening process.
Both locations are open to the public 9:00 – 10:00 am Monday through Saturday for at-risk individuals and for everyone 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday. In accordance with the state mandate patrons are required to wear a mask while inside out buildings.
Seating areas, cafes, study and game rooms, and meeting rooms are once again available to the public provided social distancing requirements are observed.
Library Express services will continue as an ongoing library service.
Phase 4 – Late Summer:
The library plans to return to full operating hours when schools resume in late summer. Plans will be made more certain as time and information allow.
All plans are subject to change as circumstances change. Please continue to check this website and the library’s social media accounts for the most current information.
Stay safe and well out there!
