Library Services for Teachers

Teacher Collections - Let the Library make it easy to incorporate stories, literature, and research tools into your classroom!  If you have a teacher card and are familiar with our service, email your collection request. 

Teacher Resource Area - Hundreds of manuals and guides that can give your class an extra boost!  Check out some popular titles! 

Longer Loans - With an ACDL Teacher Card, area educators are receive 28-day loan of almost everything in the Library!  This type of account will also allow you to request thematic collections for your classroom, such as multiple copies or supplemental material for your students (see Teacher Collections).

  • Who can Apply?  
    Teachers, Daycare Providers, and HomeSchooling Parents that live or work in Ashtabula County.

  • How can I Apply?  
    Visit your nearest ACDL Location to apply for a Teacher Card.  Sorry, no online applications at this time.

Story-time Kits - Our Teacher Kits are "storytimes-in-a-bag" are great for caregivers and pre-school/early elementary teachers!  Thematic units with puppets, picture books, activities, and craft, our Teacher Kits are an easy way to incorporate stories into your curriculum!
